americas minor betting tips and predictions

After the first day of fighting has concluded, we have a lot more insight into our Americas Minor betting tips and predictions. So far, most of the favorites won their games, and we barely saw any surprises.

NRG is topping group A, while FURIA is on a good run and they are the number one team in group B. We will have a total of 4 matches on the second day of Americas Minor.

We here are Esportsbite tried our best to provide you with the best odds on the market, and for the match we analyzed down below, Betway offered the best odds.

Imperial – INTZ

Both of these teams were on a losing end of their opening matches. INTZ lost to Bravado, while Imperial had no chance against NRG. This time around, they will fight for survival, as the loser will be eliminated from the Americas Minor.

Neither of these two teams is in a great form at the moment. INTZ have two victories in their last five matches, while Imperial won three out of their last 5 games. Another thing to notice is that both of these teams have 2 defeats in a row. It is also really important to notice that INTZ faced stronger competition, while Imperial played mostly against Brazilian teams.

INTZ and Imperial played against each other on 4 maps. At the moment, the score is dead even, each team won 2 maps. This rivalry started with INTZ beating Imperial 16-1 on Inferno. They followed that with dominating performance on Dust 2.

However, in their last meeting, Imperial was well-prepared for INTZ. They anti-strated everything INTZ did, hence why they won both Dust 2 and Mirage in convincing fashion. INTZ will definitely look to make amends, and we all know how good Vito “kNgV-” Giuseppe is when he is fired up.

Map pool

To be honest, map pool for both teams is horrible. Even though they have some similarities, they mostly play total different maps. That means that predicting a correct map veto should not be a problem.

Let’s start with something we know for sure. INTZ does not play Nuke, and that is going to be their permaban. On the other hand, Imperial will probably remove Cache, mainly because INTZ is really good on this map. As for the other maps, they are both comfortable on Mirage, Inferno and Dust 2.

  • Imperial remove Cache
  • INTZ remove Nuke
  • Imperial pick Mirage
  • INTZ pick Inferno
  • Imperial remove Overpass
  • INTZ remove Train
  • Dust 2 is left as a decider

If we are to compare individual skill for these two teams we will see a gap. For instance, Imperial does not have a player that can match the level of skill Vito “kNgV-” Giuseppe has. This guy can with the game by himself, and there is nothing you can do to stop him. If he did not act like a complete idiot, we would probably see him play for one of the best CS:GO teams in the world.

Even though Imperial could have an advantage when it comes to map pool, I do not really believe in that. On paper yes, they might be on a stronger side, but they were stomped on Inferno once against INTZ, and I would not be surprised if they get stomped again. Furthermore, Dust 2 and Mirage are also decent maps for INTZ, and they could easily win this series in 2 maps.

To conclude, INTZ has stronger individuals. Overall, they are a team filled with firepower, they are on par when it comes to map selection, and they have plenty of experience on the big stage, so there is no way they will crumble under the pressure.
