cis minor betting tips and predictions

CIS Minor group stage is concluded. Spirit topped group A, while Winstrike was on top of the group B. Gambit and AVANGAR earned themselves a playoff spot, as they were the second best teams in their groups.

We here at Esportsbite tried out best to present you with the best odds for the upcoming matches. From our detailed research, we found out that gg.bet is still offering the best CIS Minor betting odds out there.

You will be able to read our CIS Minor betting tips and predictions for the playoffs.

Spirit – AVANGAR

To be honest, everyone is expecting AVANGAR to top their group. Even though they had the same amount of points as Winstrike, they lost to them and hence why they were placed in that #2 spot. On the other hand, Spirit played a couple of good games, but nothing spectacular. However, that was more than enough for them to clinch the number one spot in their group.

Form

Spirit is definitely in a better form once compared to AVANGAR. They have 5 wins in a row, but they had to work hard for all of these wins. On the other hand, AVANGAR is not in a bad form either, but nowhere near where they should be. They have 3 wins out of their 5 last games.

Head-to-Head

These two teams played against each other on 30 maps in total. Their rivalry goes way back, but the important thing about their duels is that AVANGAR won their latest two bouts. In their last matchup, Spirit was only able to win 1 round. Prior to that, they won only 7, and that says a lot.

Map pool

Even though it might seem like Spirit and AVANGAR have similar map pools, that is not the case. Spirit always permabans Train, while Nuke is always permabanned by AVANGAR.

Rest of the maps are a total coin flip, except Mirage, where Spirit thrives. However, Dust 2 is really strong for AVANGAR and we will probably see these two teams battle it out on these two maps.

Conclusion

On paper, AVANGAR seems like a safe pick in this one, but I would avoid betting on a winner here. In my personal opinion, betting on maps would be ideal, since both of these teams will definitely have their best maps picked. Odds on seeing a decider are great, and I simply have to take it.

Winstrike – Gambit

Both of these teams are playing insanely good as of late. Gambit had some trouble against Syman, but they pulled through. On the other hand, Winstrike had a day off after they defeated AVANGAR to clinch number 1 spot in their group.

Form

Gambit and Winstrike are in identical form. Both teams have 3 wins in their last 5 bouts, and it seems like they are catching fire at the moment, with both teams winning two in a row. However, the level of competition can not be compared, as Gambit faced tougher opponents.

Map pool

Another simple map pool, and map veto overall. Gambit does not play Nuke, while Winstrike does not play Inferno. Winstrike will probably opt in for Cache, since Gambit is not good in this map, and this should be an easy map for them. Train will probably be a map of choice for Gambit. Lastly, we might see either Mirage or Overpass as a decider.

Conclusion

Just like the last CIS Minor betting prediction, I feel like there is a big chance that we could see all three maps being played, especially because Winstrike could get Cache in this map veto. This should seal them 1-0 lead, while Gambit definitely has plenty up their sleeve on their map pick. Once again we go for that over.
